Patrícia Santos Batista
Graduated in History, variant in Education, from the University of Coimbra (in 2002). She began her professional career as an History teacher. Her passion for education compelled her to search for knowledge in areas related to her initial training area. In 2004 she completed a postgraduate degree in Archeology and Heritage at NOVA University of Lisbon and in 2007 a specialization in Museums and Education at the University of Évora where she later attended and completed a Master degree in Museology. Her professional experiences as a teacher and, from January 2005, as a superior technician in the Municipal Museum of Archeology in Albufeira autarchy, solidified her interests in education for heritage and cultural mediation in non-formal educational spaces. After a coordination experience in the area of contemporary artistic creation at the Municipality of Loulé (2015-2018), she joined the team at the National Museum of Archeology where she is currently coordinator of the Inventory and Collections Service.
