Ana Margarida Ferreira
Curator at the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum (Figueira da Foz, Portugal). She has a degree in History, variant of Archaeology, from the University of Coimbra (1989) and a postgraduate degree in Cultural Affairs within the Autarchies from the same University (1991). She started her career of museum curator at the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum. In 1994/1995 she was a research fellow student at the Institute of Archaeology at the University of London where she studied conservation of archaeological and ethnographic materials. In 1997 she obtained a Master degree in Museology and Heritage from the NOVA University of Lisbon. From 1999 to 2011, she made successive service commissions at the Portuguese Institute of Museums as director of the Francisco Tavares Proença Júnior Museum (Castelo Branco) and as of the Aveiro Museum. In 2012 she returned to the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum in Figueira da Foz where she works as curator and head of service. She studies themes of the History of Ideas related to Archaeology and Museums.
