In March 2023, the TRANSMAT project established a partnership with researcher Marília Xavier Cury, lecturer at the University of São Paulo and Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology (MAE-USP), who became a consultant for the project.
This partnership will open new research paths for the exploration of the processes, contexts of collection and identification of the groups of origin of the objects under study from the National Museum of Archaeology and the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum with provenance from Brazil.
