António Carvalho
Director of the National Museum of Archeology since 2012. He held functions of director of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Cascais (2002-2012), head of the Libraries and Historical Archives division of the Municipality of Cascais (1996-2002) and was responsible for the Condes de Castro Guimarães Library of the Cascais City Council (1986-1996). He has a degree in History from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the NOVA University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree (“Specialization Course in Documentary Sciences in Documentary Sciences”) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon. He attended the curricular component of the Master in Culture and Municipal Training at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon.
